When I ran I Aluminum Wheels rally due to lower unsprung weight, a lot can be treated. Now I have to do more highway driving out, I use steel wheels, as she bends and breaks. The weight is not a factor at low speeds.

Stainless steel is the hard core of the wheels and handles. If it is the choice of steel better than not go by appearances. Steel for durability of all is the right way. Steel Beadlock dont look too bad and save money. Another advantage is that you can paint more easily than most bikes.
Aluminum is more than just weight and appearance. Aluminum is ok if you want to ease the weight of your platform. If looks and Rust proof!
Alu-Look Great! Some alloys are harder than steel or aluminum, but you pay the price. Rust Test.
The weight is an advantage. For a small need to lose weight [] aluminum, but have yet to steel steingth if you abuse it, as it should be done. Its just PREFERENCE.
